Dog Shelter

It was daunting to think about shooting in a dog shelter, using actual shelter dogs.  Especially since we were going through the city, dealing with the bureaucracy of animal services, etc… in theory it sounded like a nightmare.  It turns out that this location, the North Central Animal Shelter, was one of the easiest, most accommodating and friendly places we have ever filmed in.  Pat, Matt and all of the shelter staff were amazingly helpful and wonderful.  Their jobs are incredibly hard and the work clearly takes an emotional toll, but these people love the dogs they work with.
